Tip #6 – Avoid the Sun

While each of these tips are helpful on their own, adding them altogether can provide you with even better results.

So, here is the final acne tip for this email series.

Tip # 7 – Moisturize Your Skin Regularly

Most people don’t think that they should moisturize their skin when they have acne. In fact, many people think that moisturizing will cause them even more acne problems, when in reality, moisturizing your skin is an important way to get rid of acne. However, it is important to note that the right type of moisturizers should be used on your skin if you have problems with acne breakouts.

One complaint that many people have that use acne products with benzoyl peroxide is a dry skin problem. This ingredient can dry out the skin and irritate it as well, which can lead to more acne problems, which is definitely something you don’t want. Just using a moisturizer on your skin can help this problem.

If you are going to purchase a moisturizer for your skin there are a few things that you need to remember. First of all, be sure that the moisturizer you choose is non-comedogenic and oil free, which means that it won’t clog up the pores of your skin. The last thing you need is a greasy moisturizer on your face. A water based moisturizer will provide you with the moisture you need without clogging up your pores.

Another thing to keep in mind when purchasing the right moisturizer is to make sure that it is hypoallergenic as well. This means it will not be as likely to cause irritation or an allergic reaction as well.

Some moisturizers out there may actually come with acne medication in them, such as salicylic acid. These types of moisturizers will not only provide you with the moisture you need for your dry skin, but it will also help to treat the acne problem as well.

The most important thing for you to remember when it comes to moisturizing is that a moisturizer is not the enemy here. In reality, you can’t fight off your acne effectively if you don’t make sure that your skin is moisturized, especially since so many acne medications tend to dry out skin. So, purchase a great moisturizer and keep your skin moisturized to help treat your acne problem.

And so you now have all seven tips to help you fight off acne. Start using them and no doubt you’ll see improvements in your skin.
