If you have not ever had acne, you must have come across a few folks who really suffer from it. I don’t mean the regular blackhead, or small freckles scattered all over their features; no, I speak of folks who really suffer from it, with acne on their backs, necks, shoulders and even chest. I do not know how they live with it, but I doubt that I could. All I may say to them is, ‘keep up the good fight.’ It’s possible to deal with acne, if you have access to the right information.

Walk into just about any store these days, and you are bound to come across loads of labels that claim they can heal acne. Well, maybe a few of them can actually make the complaint better, but healing zits entirely usually takes a lot more work. Do not be shy to ask which one is good for your skin type from the shop clerk.

One form of zits, the type referred to as chloracne, is caused by chlorinated compounds. When you use too many chlorinated products, you leave yourself wide open. Nevertheless you cannot just cure it by quitting, you are going to have to start taking the right acne medication to speed up the recovery process. And of course, you have to bring your physician in on it too.

Zits may happen to just about anyone in any stage of life, however it is most common in kids who are just growing into the puberty stage of their lives. In adolescents, it often results from changes in the hormones in their bodies as they become mature. This causes the said hormones to stimulate sebum production. And when this gets too much for the skin to handle, you start to see the freckles and spots that signal the arrival of the condition.
