Home Remedies for Acne You’ve Never Heard Of

Aloevera2web.Image via WikipediaAcne - it is such a difficult problem to deal with. While there are so many people dealing with it, it doesn’t make it any easier for those who are. People who deal with acne often feel like they are worthless and may have problems with low self esteem, feeling ashamed of the way that they look. Well, for everyone who is dealing with acne, there are some great home remedies for acne out there that can make a huge difference. More than likely there are quite a few different remedies that you’ve never even heard of. So, here’s a few of them that you may want to try out on your own to see how they work for you.

Tea Bags and Basil
If you happen to have some tea bags in the house, take about 2-3 of them and mix them with dried basil and cook them for about 15 minutes. Once you come up with a really nice liquid from the bags and basil, then you’ll want to take a cotton ball and apply it to your face. Simply allow it to dry on your face and let it stay on until the next time that you wash your face. No doubt this will be a great home treatment that can help you clear up that acne.

Aloe Vera Treatments
There are many great aloe vera treatments out there that can help you to treat your acne problem. Today you’ll find that you can purchase many great products that have aloe vera in them, but you don’t have to just purchase a product. If you happen to have an aloe vera plant, simply take the gel out of a leaf from the plant and gently apply it on your face. Let it dry on your face and then make sure to wash it off with some nice warm water very gently.

Oatmeal Yogurt Mask

If you are looking for great home remedies for acne, another great one to try out is an oatmeal yogurt mask. Take some plain yogurt that has no sugar in it at all and blend up some oatmeal and add the two together. Mix it up until you have a nice thick paste. Once it is thick and mixed up, apply it to your face and then allow it to dry. After it has dried, which will take a least 20 minutes, simply wash it off carefully with some warm water and then pat your skin dry.

Cinnamon and Honey
More than likely another of the home remedies for acne that you’ve never heard of is using cinnamon and honey together. Take some honey and add enough cinnamon powder to it to make a good paste. Put the paste on your face before bed and then leave it there all night long. In the morning you can simply wash it off and you’ll be surprised at the great results that it provides. While this is a bit sticky, it is worth it when you see how well it works on your face.

Lime and Lemon Juice

Both lime and lemon juice can be used to treat your acne problems as well. With lemon juice, you simply have to apply the juice right on to your skin. However, there are a couple ways that you can use the lime juice. You can take lime juice with boiled milk and mix them up for a nice treatment for skin that has blackheads and pimples. Also, lime juice and groundnut oil is a great treatment that really helps to eliminate acne as well. A bit of lime juice together with rosewater is another option that can be applied each night.

Tomato Paste

If you have some ripe tomatoes around the house, take one of them and blend it into a nice tomato paste. After you have it blended into a paste, you can take the paste and apply it to your skin carefully. You should only leave it on your skin for about an hour and then it should be washed off.
