Cellex C Skin Care Products
Cellex C Skin Care Products are not as well known as some other products; however, they are quickly becoming more and more popular. The history of these products goes back more than 20 years, and they were created by Dr. Lorraine Meisner. Dr. Meisner was a cell biologist, and she came up with the idea of finding a new wrinkle treatment that would not harm or irritate the skin. Starting out by experimenting in her kitchen, she soon came out with a product that contained Vitamin C, which aided in collagen stimulus and maintenance. This was one of the first skin care products that began to use vitamin C based technology for skin care.More on Cellex C Skin Care Product Review

La Mer Skin Care Product Review
La Mer Skin Care Products were developed by Dr. Max Huber. After he suffered an accident that left his face covered with bad chemical burns, he decided to come up with something that will help him. After 6,000 different experiments and 12 years of work, he created his Crème de la Mer. The special broth, that is the heart of most of these products, contains ingredients like calcium, Vitamins E, B12, and C, sea kelp, iron, potassium, citrus oil, sunflower, and a whole lot more. To create the "broth" it goes through a bio-fermentation process that lasts for about 3-4 months. More on La Mer Skin Care Product Review

Everyone is affected by acne in a different way, and many people deal with depression and insecurities as well. Basically, acne is defined as the appearance of pimples, blackheads, or pustules that occur on the face, chest, back, or just about any place on the body. There are many different types of acne out there, so let’s take a look at some of the common types of acne that people deal with.
Whiteheads – Whiteheads are a type of acne that is caused by pores that are totally blocked. They appear to be white on the outside because the bacteria that are inside of the pore is actually taking the sebum and turning it into a fatty acid. Many times people try to pop these types of acne; however, this can be problematic, since it can spread the bacteria around, causing more acne to form.
Blackheads – Another type of acne is blackheads. Blackheads are caused by pores that are only partially blocked. While many people seem to think that the black appearance of this acne is from dirt, it is actually pigment that comes from the skin cells that are dead that make them appear this way.
Nodules – Nodules are a more severe type of acne and they usually appear as very large bumps that are hard and underneath the surface of the skin.
Papules – Papules are spots or bumps that are tender, small, and often red. They are pretty much the precursor to full blown pimples.
Pustules – The pustules are much like the papules, but they are a bit larger. They are red and usually they are inflamed and filled with pus. This is what is known as a pimple and they can be quite painful as well.
Cysts – This is the worst type of acne that you can have. They are quite similar to the nodules. However, often they are a bit bigger and the infection and inflammation can go very deep into the skin. This is a very painful type of acne that can really be scarring as well.
Acne Rosacea – A skin problem that is very close to acne is acne rosacea, although it is not actually the same thing as regular acne is. However, it often does display some similar characteristics. It comes with pustules, oily skin, and other traits of acne vulgaris, but there are other problems as well. People with rosacea suffer from redness and flushing of the skin as well.

Dear Skin Care Expert,
I have really severe acne and now I’m using a great medication that seems to be offering some results – finally. Can I start using more of the product or using it more frequently during the day to help speed up the process of clearing up my acne problem? – Impatient in Iowa
Dear Impatient,
In this case, your impatience is only going to cause you problems. NO! You should never start to use an acne medication more frequently than it is prescribed and you should never use more than you are supposed to either. It is important that you only use your acne medication as your dermatologist has instructed or as the instruction on the package tell you to. If you begin using more of topical acne medications than you have been told to, you can actually cause a variety of skin problems. This could cause skin irritation, follicular plugging, and redness, all of which can actually make it take longer for your skin to clear up. If you really want to see the quickest possible results for your acne problem, on use the medications exactly as directed. Also, if you take oral medications for your acne, you should never take more of those either or you run a greater risk of dealing with side effects from the medication.
